genealogy of speed was one of the first events art directed by ceft and company new york for nike. the event took place at space gallery in lower manhattan with a focus on nike apparel, including the revolutionary swift suit, created for the U.S. olympic team. a special edition book was commissioned and photographed by fashion photographer steven klein and the images were also put on display at the event. the press and opinion leaders were invited to the space on two separate evenings.
